With the Baltic Rower Pro, you can adapt your rowing machine to perfectly suit your fitness level and goals. The base resistance can be adjusted by changing the fill level of the water tank. A six-step scale on the side of the tank shows the maximum and minimum resistance levels. Beginners can start at a low level and increase it step-by-step as they progress – the clear markings on the tank help you gauge the change in difficulty.
Unique design
Not a bug but an intentional design choice: The Baltic Rower Pro's tank sits diagonally instead of horizontally. The rowing ergometer is also available in two modern colour variants – with a blue tank and grey frame or grey tank with red paddles and black frame. This sturdy indoor rower with a special design enhances any fitness area in a home, office or hotel.
Comfortable seat height
The Pro version of the Baltic Rower comes with a raised seat. This makes it much easier to sit down and get up again. Especially after an intense workout, rowers will appreciate the comfortably high seat position. The seat is softly padded, and its rubber wheels are nearly silent when rolling along the rails.
Tiltable display with a tablet tray
The training computer on a positionable arm can be tilted to give you a clear view of your data. Choose from a variety of rowing programmes: you can specify a certain time, distance or amount of calories to burn, row in a race and much more. Thanks to the handy tablet tray, you can even watch videos on your smartphone or use fitness apps like Kinomap to row on water routes all over the world.
Adjustable footplate, non-slip handle
The fixed footplate has six heel height settings and straps to fit any shoe size. Numbered markings help you quickly find the right setting again when switching between users. The close foot placement supports an ergonomic posture and hip position while rowing. A rubberised handle provides a comfortable, soft, non-slip grip.
Space-saving and compact
After your workout, you can send the Baltic Rower Pro to the corner without feeling guilty – it's easy to wheel into position and store vertically to free up space until your next workout. When stood upright, the rower's footprint is drastically reduced.

This is how conventional water rowing machines work. This natural shortcoming is overcome with the Baltic Rower Pro's angled tank. On the cardiostrong rowing machine Baltic Rower Pro, the base resistance can be adjusted by changing the amount of water in the tank. Markings on the side of the tank clearly indicate the difficulty level. Go for a relaxing tour around a placid lake or challenge yourself with an upstream battle through whitewater rapids.
But that is not the only highlight of the Baltic Rower Pro resistance system. The second is its sporty, chic design. Having the water tank at an angle both looks good and has the practical advantage of making the rowing machine a few centimetres shorter than if it were lying flat. Trainiere seit ein paar Wochen mit dem Gerät und kann nur sagen das alles einwandfrei funktioniert.
Die Aufbauanleitung ist auch sehr leicht verständlich, auch die Verarbeitung ist Top.
Das Rudergerät war einfach aufzubauen und macht einen stabilen Eindruck. Der Sitz ist bequem und gleitet sauber.
Leider ist das Display schlecht abzulesen, da schwacher Kontrast. Auch vermisse ich die Einstellbarkeit des Wasserwiderstandes bei gleicher Befüllung. Mir ist zwischenzeitlich aufgefallen, dass andere Hersteller dies bei gleichem Preis bieten.
Insgesamt bin ich dennoch zufrieden. Insbesondere die Freundlichkeit und Erreichbarkeit des Servicemitarbeiters hat mich beeindruckt.
Der Aufbau des hochwertigen Gerätes ist relativ schnell erledigt. Zunächst den Sitz mit den Schienen verbinden (4 Schrauben), dann die Schienen mit dem Hauptteil verbinden (6 Schrauben). Zuletzt die Konsole anbringen, was schon ziemlich fummelig ist wegen der Kabel, die es zu verbinden und nicht zu beschädigen gilt. Schließlich Wasser einfüllen. Für den Start habe ich mich für die 4 entschieden, was mE sehr gut passt.
Die Konsole ist nicht auf dem neuesten Stand der Technik. Dies ist wohl dem Umstand geschuldet, dass hier mit 4 Batterien AA gearbeitet wird, die leider nicht beiliegen. Sobald das Gerät mit der Kinomap oder der Peloton-App verbunden ist, erübrigt sich die schwere Ablesbarkeit.
Super Gerät! Ich war hinsichtlich des Wasserwiderstands erst skeptisch und habe lange damit gehadert, weshalb ich nicht das Concept 2 (oder Merach R50) bestellt hatte, aber der Widerstand ist vollkommen ausreichend, um sich ordentlich auszupowern und sich an seine Grenzen zu bringen. Das Rauchen des Wassers ist definitiv angenehmer als Luft.

Ich bin absolut begeistert vom cardiostrong Baltic Rower Pro Rudergerät! Schon beim Auspacken merkt man die hochwertige Verarbeitung und das elegante Design. Besonders beeindruckt hat mich das realistische Rudergefühl dank des Wasserwiderstandssystems – es fühlt sich an, als würde man tatsächlich auf dem Wasser rudern.
Der Widerstand lässt sich durch die Wassermenge leicht anpassen, sodass sowohl Einsteiger als auch Fortgeschrittene perfekt trainieren können. Auch die Laufruhe und Stabilität sind bemerkenswert – das Gerät steht sicher und leise, selbst bei intensiven Trainingseinheiten.
Ein weiterer Pluspunkt ist der komfortable Sitz sowie die ergonomisch geformten Griffe, die das Training angenehm und gelenkschonend machen. Das übersichtliche Display liefert alle wichtigen Trainingsdaten wie Zeit, Distanz, Schläge pro Minute und Kalorienverbrauch auf einen Blick.
Was mir persönlich sehr wichtig war: Das Gerät sieht nicht nur sportlich aus, sondern fügt sich durch sein edles Holzdesign auch perfekt in die Wohnung ein. Nach dem Training lässt es sich platzsparend hochstellen, was ideal ist, wenn man nicht so viel Platz hat.
