• MEDICAL GUIDANCE
• It is recommended to consult a medical professional e.g. your doctor, before commencing a new exercise routine. Reformer Pilates is a dynamic workout, and if you have never been on a Pilates reformer before, or you do not participate or engage in regular exercise or physical activity, please consult with your medical professional to determine if Reform RX is the right physical activity for you. Additionally, you should also speak to your health practitioner or doctor if you have any heart conditions, long-term or short-term injuries, or any ongoing joint pain, before completing any workouts on the Reform RX reformer.
• If you experience any feeling of faintness, chest pain, nausea, vertigo, dizziness, shortness of breath, stop exercising immediately and contact your doctor.
• Reform RX is not recommended for use by individuals with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, unless they are receiving guided supervision and direction.
• The biometrics displayed on the RX touchscreen, including heart rate monitoring, may be inaccurate, and will vary on the heart rate monitoring device you have paired the Reform RX with. Values should be used for reference only.
• USAGE
• Keep children under 14 and pets away from the Reform RX reformer at all times.
• Do not use attachments or additional equipment and accessories that are not Reform RX branded or recommended by the manufacturer. Additional equipment that is not manufactured by Reform RX e.g. Pilates arcs, jumpboards, and boxes are not designed to accommodate the Reform RX specification, and could result in injury or damage.
• Do not wear loose clothing that could get caught in the moving carriage of the Reform RX. Long hair should be tied up and any loose, hanging jewellery should be removed before use.
• Familiarize yourself with all labels on your Reform RX before use. If you know that a label is lost or has been damaged, please contact Member Support.
• ELECTRICAL & SAFETY GUIDANCE
• Never leave the Reform RX reformer unattended when plugged in. Always unplug from outlet when not in use, and before putting on or removing any parts.
• Avoid the risk of electrical shock by ensuring your Reform RX is unplugged before cleaning.
• Do not operate under any thick fabrics such as fur rugs. Excessive heating can occur and cause fire, electric shock, or injury to individuals. It is advisable to use the Reform RX reformer mat to place your Reform RX on.
