10 resistance levels for optimal control

The Apollo XL features a patented water tank which uses a simple dial to change the resistance level. The tank has two chambers: a passive and an active chamber, and turning the dial allows more or less water to pass into the active chamber where rotor blades generate resistance. With 10 resistance levels to choose from, this system is ideal for both casual cardio and intensive strength training. The simple adjustment via the dial means you can work out at the intensity level that is just right for you, without ever having to refill the tank with water.

A sturdy yet elegant combination of wood and steel

The construction of the Fluid Rower Apollo XL mixes elements made of steel and American ash wood with a beech finish to create an aesthetically pleasing work of craftsmanship. The steel frame surrounding the water tank ensures rigidity for the rollers, belt and pulley during intense workouts to keep everything running smoothly. The ash frame was carefully sanded and twice-varnished to improve its durability and give it a warm beech wood appearance. This unique combination of materials ensures the rowing machine remains stable and durable, allowing it to withstand intensive use for years to come without losing its strength or performance quality.

Training computer with wireless capabilities

The Apollo Xl is equipped with the Fluid Monitor and a wireless transmitter that can transfer real-time data from your rowing machine. The monitor displays workout metrics such as time, distance, calories burned, watts and strokes per minute. A unique feature of this display is the Power Graph which shows a force curve or your rowing stroke to help you analyse and perfect your rowing technique. The wireless interface means you can connect to a smart device with popular training apps like Fluid Connect and Kinomap to further personalise, plan and gamify your workouts. This can help you get the most out of each workout session for better training results.
