Um den Korb bewegen zu können sollte man zu zweit sein, da er auf Grund seines Gewichtes doch recht schwer ist.

Auf YouTube gibt es ein sehr aussagekräftiges Video von "MrMike". Das Video hatte mich zum Kauf überzeugt und seine positive Bewertung kann ich nun teilen.
Das Produkt ist sehr gut verpackt. Die Materialien sind hochwertig und mit Hilfe der besten Bauanleitung, die ich je gelesen habe, mit zwei Personen - die sollte man haben - einfach an einem Nachmittag zu montieren. Die Schrauben, Muttern und alle anderen Kleinteile sind so verpackt und beschriftet, dass man nicht suchen muss. Das sollte der Maßstab für alle Hersteller werden. Es liegen sogar schon einige Ersatzteile ebenfalls gut verpackt und beschriftet dabei. Die Anleitung ist auf Englisch und auch hervorragend bebildert. Wer trotzdem eine deutsche Anleitung braucht wird auf YouTube mit einem Herstellervideo fündig. Ein hoher 16mm-Aufsatz (im Baumarkt für "Zündkerzen") für die Ratsche wird benötigt. Ein Gummihammer wird empfohlen. Alle anderen Werkzeuge sind Standard.
Das schwere und große Gesamtpaket wird per Spedition geliefert (hat auch gut geklappt). Wer es nicht direkt an einem geeigneten Ort lagern kann, kann es öffnen und die Einzelteile bequem tragen.
Die Räder und die Ballasttanks werden gemäß Empfehlung mit Sand UND Wasser befüllt. Das Befüllen der Räder erfolgt in einem der ersten Bauschritte und sollte am besten auch zu diesem Zeitpunkt erfolgen. Ein Sack "Spielsand" (20 -25 kg) reicht aus für Räder und Ballasttank. Dann kommen noch rund 120 Liter Wasser dazu.
Im Laufe des Zusammenbaus braucht man eine stabile, etwa 1,20 m hohe Auflage. Der Karton wird als (Not-)Möglichkeit empfohlen. Meiner war wegen Regens am Tag der Lieferung nicht mehr stabil genug. Ich habe eine Mülltonne genutzt. Das war dann etwas niedriger, reichte aber auch.
Ich hatte etwas länger nach den Unterschieden gesucht: Das größere Modell "54" besitzt wohl ein größeres Brett und einen etwas weiteren horizontalen Abstand zwischen Brett und Ballasttank. Er ist bei dem "50"-Modell tatsächlich etwas gering, so dass man bei einem schwungvollen Korbleger schon auf dem Tank landen könnte.
Die Höhenverstellbarkeit ist leicht zu bedienen. Die Verschiebbarkeit der Gesamtanlage habe ich noch nicht richtig getestet. Ich würde es sicherheitshalber auch nur mit zwei Personen versuchen.... [Lue lisää]
