Induction brake – maximum precision and durability

Electromagnetic induction is the ultimate braking system for exercise bikes. Compared to mechanical magnetic brakes that use a servo-motor to move a magnet, induction eddy-current brakes offer more precision and speed when silently adjusting the resistance with a smoother feeling result. With the Tour 800, you can exercise according to your exact plans. In the watt-controlled mode, the selected overall output is constantly maintained independent of your pedalling speed – ideal for controlled cardio and endurance training. Alternatively, the resistance can be set directly so output increases with cadence. The watt performance can be set anywhere between 50 and 600 watts in fine 5-watt increments. Die Verarbeitung ist solide, das Induktionsbremssystem arbeitet sehr leise - ideal für die Nutzung in Wohnräumen. Würde ich wieder kaufen.

Nach reiflicher Überlegung und Probefahren in der Filiale, haben wir uns für das Ergometer von Kettler entschieden. Ausschlaggebend war die tolle Verstellung der Sitzposition und die einfache Bedienung. Wir konnten das Gerät direkt verpackt mitnehmen und haben es zu Hause allein aufgebaut. Der Aufbau war ganz einfach und in ca. einer Stunde erledigt.
